PostSubject: Picture Scroll Bars   Wed May 12, 2010 3:14 pm

Hey all its great to be here. I was wondering if anyone could help with a picture issue i may have. Im trying to use it as a background image for a sprite game but when setting the width and height the window is rendered with scroll cars. Is there a way to display it without them. I had a look through the user guide but cant seem to find anything. Thanks for any help!

Hello again. I found out how to set the display for the scene2d but now seem to be a little stuck again. Im trying to use the message dialogs but get the error of "illegal instruction". If i use message by itself it works excellent but if i try message_information_ok or another one it says "ILLEGAL INSTRUCTION". I have looked at the user guide and reference but cant see what im doing wrong. Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum, Gregory.
Without an sample (some lines of code) of what is wrong, it is difficult to help you.
You do not have problem with MESSAGE but you have problem with MESSAGE_INFORMATION_OK.
Maybe you did not see that MESSAGE is a command, so you use it well:
MESSAGE "Hello"
but that MESSAGE_INFORMATION_OK is a function which returns a value.
So the use is like that:
if MESSAGE_INFORMATION_OK("Hello")=1 then - - -

But you are right, the reference manual is not accurate about that and I will correct it: the given examples are bad.
