Ok, I worked it out,  but why no help ? - plenty looked but no one helped, why not just say i dont know.  great forum, where's the help ?

Jenn

Also, the ability to change the default Panoramic icon in the exe to one of the developers choosing is crucial to the success of the language in my opinion.  All serious developers want their efforts to have their own icons. This simple thing is holding this brilliant programming language back. More would use it if they could change the 'P' icon to their own.

Hello JennyK

Personally I cannot answer your question because I do not know. Embarassed
You can always ask for help on the French forum which is more active.

Be willing to excuse my English.

Hello JennyK,

I've been alerted by Papydall about your SOS concerning collisions. I'm actively participating on the French forum, my incursions on the English fprum are very rare.

I noticed you managed to find a soluton for your collision problem. Nice ! But, frankly, a little more precision would have been usefull to define the problem to solve...

Now, for your icon problem, I may have a solution. I'm the author of a fairly large support DLL (nearly 1000 additional functions ! ). And one of these does the trick (on runtime, obviously):
Code:
res% = DLL_call2("SetFormIcon",handle(frm%),adr(icon$))
As parameters, you give the handke of the main form and the address of cha string variable containing the path and name to the ICI flie, lige this
Code:
dim res%, icon$
icon$ = "MiIcon.ico"
res% = DLL_call2("SetFormIcon",handle(0),adr(icon$))

Btw, the home page of my website (French only, sorry !) is here

So,, good luck ! And just a tip: in order to get "fast" help, just post a message on the French forum, second item in the thread list ("A l'aide"). Just write as you like, in English, French, German, Portugeese... You'll get a fast answer !
Please have a look at the online documentation here
The above function is documentated here
You can download the Dll here
and the CHL help file here

And just a tip: if you want "fast" help, just post into the French forum, second thread of the thread list ("A l'aide"). You may write in English, French, German, Portuguese - it will work !

@Klaus

Code:
 ……. [color=blue] here [/color]

PS : Les liens dans ta signature sont à mettre à jour. Wink
